Stored XSS via unescaped userName
Published Jan 26, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Adive Framework 2.0.8 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim browser via admin/user/add userName. The userName value is rendered without adequate output encoding, allowing attacker-controlled markup to run when the user-management page displays it. Exploitation requires a victim to load the crafted account entry; impact is limited to browser-context data access and actions.
