Path traversal in GitLab EE 11.11 through 12.7.2 allows remote attackers to read server files through dependency-proxy requests. The dependency proxy fails to confine a supplied path to its intended storage directory, exposing files and user data outside that boundary. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published impact is limited to confidentiality, with no write or service-interruption effect.
