Memory corruption in meshsystem.dll in Valve Dota 2 before 7.23f allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted map. The BinaryProperties_GetValue path uses attacker-controlled mesh values to derive a memory address, causing an invalid read whose data controls a later write target. Exploitation requires the victim to join an attacker-controlled game server or load the custom map; successful triggering crashes the client or executes code in its context.
