Memory corruption in Valve Dota 2 before 7.23f allows remote attackers to execute code or crash the client through a crafted map. BinaryProperties_GetValue in schemasystem.dll adds attacker-controlled map values to form a pointer, then dereferences it and triggers an access violation. Exploitation requires the victim to join an attacker-controlled game server or launch a malicious custom map; successful abuse can compromise or crash the client.
