Information disclosure in Puppet Enterprise, Puppet Server, and PuppetDB allows remote attackers to read sensitive metrics over the network. The trapperkeeper-metrics /v1 API accepts unauthenticated local-network requests and returns PuppetDB hostnames plus Puppet Server resource, function, and class names. Network reachability is sufficient in Puppet Enterprise before 2019.5.0, including 2018.1.x before 2018.1.13, Puppet Server before 5.3.12 or 6.9.2, and PuppetDB before 5.2.13 or 6.9.1.
