Unauthorized database access via insecure X.509 certificates

Improper certificate validation in MongoDB Enterprise Kubernetes Operator affected releases allows attackers to access MongoDB instances. MongoDB states that Operator-generated X.509 certificates are potentially insecure but has not published the faulty certificate property or generation operation. Exploitation requires Kubernetes cluster access and X.509 authentication with Operator-generated certificates; other deployments are unaffected.
