Phishing via reverse tabnabbing
Published Jan 30, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reverse tabnabbing in JetBrains TeamCity before 2019.1.5 allows remote attackers to replace an opener tab after a user follows a link. JetBrains identifies several affected pages but does not publish the endpoints or the link handling that leaves the opener tab controllable. Exploitation requires a user to follow an attacker-controlled link, enabling deceptive content replacement and phishing in the original tab.
