Arbitrary code execution via Tight file CMD
Published Jun 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper input validation in ZOOK 2.0.4.6 allows remote authenticated users to create and execute arbitrary files on an agent PC. The Viewer’s Tight file CMD accepts a traversal path without adequate validation, allowing attacker-controlled files to be written and launched by the Agent. Valid connection details are required; successful exploitation runs the file with the Agent process’s privileges.
