Remote code execution via brokerCommand injection
Published Mar 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in MarkAny MaEPSBroker 2.5.0.31 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via brokerCommand. The brokerCommand parser performs insufficient input validation, allowing attacker-controlled parameter content to alter the command it executes. A remote attacker needs no privileges, but successful exploitation requires user interaction and runs injected commands in the broker process context.
