Code execution via unchecked ActiveX method arguments

Code execution in Kaoni ezHTTPTrans 1.0.0.70 through 1.0.0.90 allows attackers to execute arbitrary files through its ActiveX control. The ezhttptrans.ocx control accepts attacker-selected ActiveX method arguments, downloads the referenced file, and executes it without validating its origin or integrity. Exploitation requires the control to be invoked in a user context; successful execution runs attacker-supplied code with that user’s privileges.
