CVE-2020-7808Network attack vector

Code execution via unsigned automatic update arguments

Published May 21, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Argument injection in RAON K Upload 2018.0.2.51 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute DLL code through automatic updates. The web.js update module accepts attacker-modified update arguments without checking update integrity, causing it to download and inject an arbitrary DLL. The affected path is the Windows client-side automatic updater; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied library code without authentication or user interaction.
