Sensitive information disclosure via unauthorized SNMP queries
Published Apr 14, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in Synergy Systems & Solutions HUSKY RTU 6049-E70 5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive data via SNMP. The RTU's SNMP agent provides sensitive information to unauthorized requesters instead of restricting disclosure to authorized actors. Network access to UDP port 161 and enabled SNMP are required; the vendor states that the service is read-only and cannot change configuration.
