Prototype pollution in asciitable.js before 1.0.3 allows attackers to cause a service interruption through crafted options. The main function's defaults helper recursively copies attacker-controlled option keys and follows proto into Object.prototype, thereby writing shared properties. Reachability requires a consuming browser or Node.js application to pass attacker-controlled option data to the function; the CNA assessment limits direct impact to availability.
