CVE-2020-7647Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Classpath disclosure via asset path traversal

Published May 11, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Path traversal in Jooby before 1.6.7 and 2.0.0 through 2.8.1 allows remote attackers to read sensitive classpath resources. AssetHandler resolves unmatched file-system asset requests through the class loader without confining the normalized resource name to the configured route prefix. Unauthenticated HTTP access to an application exposing Jooby asset routes is enough to retrieve configuration or application class files.
