Arbitrary command execution via unsanitized HOME

Command injection in Google Chrome Launcher before 0.13.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a controlled HOME variable. The chrome-finder module interpolates HOME directly into regular-expression patterns used to locate Chrome, allowing crafted metacharacters to alter launch-time processing and reach command execution. Exploitation requires control of the HOME environment in a Linux process that invokes the launcher; successful commands run with that process's privileges and can affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
