CVE-2020-7607Network attack vector

Arbitrary command execution via unsanitized options

Published Mar 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Command injection in Konitter gulp-styledocco 0.0.3 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands through crafted options. The exported function in index.js uses the attacker-controlled options argument when constructing command execution without sanitizing shell metacharacters. Exploitation requires a consuming Gulp pipeline to pass attacker-controlled option values, and commands run with the build process's privileges.
