OS command injection in Stephan Ahlf Node Prompt Here 1.0.1 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The open method concatenates its dir argument twice into a Windows start command and passes the resulting string to child_process.exec without escaping. Exploitation requires a consuming Node.js application to pass attacker-controlled directory text; commands run with that application's privileges.
