Hard-coded credentials in Schneider Electric Vijeo Designer Basic and Vijeo Designer allow remote authenticated users unauthorized project or firmware read/write. The download and upload authentication path accepts a credential embedded in the software instead of validating a deployment-specific secret. Access requires authenticated network reachability to the engineering or HMI transfer interface, and successful use permits reading or writing project or firmware data without authorization.
