Project-file parsing in EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert 3.1 Service Pack 1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via VXDZ files. The VXDZ parser fails to validate a user-supplied path in load_extension parameters before using it in file operations. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious project file and runs code in the context of the application process.
