Unauthenticated service interruption via legacy password feature
Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Denial of service in Schneider Electric TriStation 1131 4.0.0 through 4.9.0 and 4.10.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. The former password feature exposes the condition, but Schneider Electric has not published the operation that processes attacker-controlled traffic. Exploitation requires departure from documented dedicated-connection and key-switch protections, and the reported consequence is service interruption only.
