CVE-2020-7390Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Privileged session compromise via stored profile fields

Published Jul 22, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Stored XSS in the Sage X3 V12 Syracuse Edit User page allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The First Name, Last Name, and Email Address fields store unsanitized markup, and the profile view executes an injected event handler on mouseover. A regular account can plant the payload, but a second logged-in user must interact with the rendered profile; an administrator victim exposes privileged actions and session cookies.
