Privilege escalation in McAfee Endpoint Security for Windows before 10.7.0 April 2020 Update allows local users to modify protected settings. The administrative client interface accepts configuration edits without checking the editing user’s permissions. The flaw requires local client access and an editable ENS interface; ePO policy locking blocks the exposed configuration path.
