Unauthenticated SQL injection via landing_location query
Published Jan 21, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Simplejobscript SJS before 1.65 allows remote attackers to read and alter database data through job-search input. The countSearchedJobs() function in _lib/class.Job.php incorporates the landing_location parameter into a query without neutralizing SQL syntax. The public /searched endpoint requires no authentication, and a time-delay payload demonstrates attacker-controlled database evaluation.
