Unauthenticated command execution via OpenSSL engine injection

Authentication bypass in ClearPass Policy Manager 6.7.x, 6.8.x, and 6.9.x allows remote attackers to execute operating-system commands. The unauthenticated /tips/tipsSimulationUpload.action endpoint accepts an uploaded shared object and injects attacker-controlled clientPassphrase text into an OpenSSL engine argument, causing the operating system to load and execute the object. Network access to the WebUI is sufficient, and successful exploitation runs attacker commands on the underlying appliance operating system.
