CVE-2020-7113Network attack vector

Service-account compromise via modified HTTP parameters

Published Apr 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Information disclosure in HPE Aruba ClearPass 6.7.9 and earlier and 6.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to compromise service accounts. The management interface processes attacker-modified parameters in intercepted HTTP messages and thereby compromises service accounts; HPE has not disclosed the affected endpoint or improper operation. Administrative access to the network-reachable management interface is required, and the reported impact is limited to account confidentiality.
