Prototype pollution in Elastic Kibana before 6.8.9 and 7.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through crafted TSVB data. TSVB request processors pass attacker-controlled series or annotation identifiers into lodash set paths, allowing special path segments to modify shared object prototypes. Access to create TSVB visualizations is required, and successful exploitation runs code with the Kibana process's host permissions.
