Published Mar 24, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cleartext credential transmission in Moxa EDS-G516E Series firmware 5.2 and earlier allows attackers to intercept login credentials. The switch's web management interface sends user credentials over HTTP rather than protecting the session with HTTPS. An attacker must be able to observe network traffic between an administrator and the affected web interface; the reported consequence is credential disclosure.
