Authentication bypass in Moxa EDS-G516E Series firmware 5.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain unauthenticated system access. Moxa identifies a hard-coded password but has not published the affected authentication interface or the code path that accepts it. Network reachability to an affected switch is the documented gate, and the consequence is system access without proper authentication; Moxa does not define the access level.
