Heap-based buffer overflow in Emerson OpenEnterprise 3.1 through 3.3.3 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted script. Public advisories do not identify the script-processing component or the copy operation that writes beyond its heap allocation. OpenEnterprise SCADA Server 2.83 is affected only when Modbus or ROC Interfaces are installed and in use; successful exploitation executes code on the server.
