Administrator access via unauthenticated SQL injection
Published Jan 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Honeywell MAXPRO VMS and NVR allows remote attackers to obtain administrator-level web interface access. The MAXPRO Server web interface passes attacker-controlled request data into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax; Honeywell has not disclosed the endpoint or parameter. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants administrator-level access to the interface.
