Browser script execution via reflected login name
Published May 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in PCS DEXICON Enterprise 3.4.1 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted login request. The login_action.jsp endpoint places the loginName parameter into an HTML response without neutralizing script-capable input. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted request; the script runs in the DEXICON origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
