Unauthenticated root access via empty Telnet password

Weak Telnet authentication in CACAGOO Cloud Storage Intelligent Camera TV-288ZD-2MP firmware 3.4.2.0919 allows remote attackers to gain root access. The camera's Telnet service accepts the root username with an empty password, granting a session at the device's highest privilege level. Network reachability to the Telnet service is the only reported gate, after which the attacker can control the camera as root.
