Application crash via late stream reinitialization

Use-after-free in cubeb in Firefox before 74, Firefox ESR before 68.6, and Thunderbird before 68.6 allows attackers to crash the application. During stream destruction, a device change can queue the stream-reinit task so that it runs after the stream object has been freed and dereferences stale memory. Exploitation requires user interaction and precise timing around an audio-device change; the bounded published consequence is a potentially exploitable crash.
