Eval injection in Eaton UPS Companion 1.05 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute arbitrary code during update checks. The Update Manager retrieves update content over unauthenticated HTTP and passes that content to eval() without neutralizing code syntax. Exploitation requires interception of the weekly update request; injected JavaScript can invoke backend file, socket, and process operations on the host.
