Authenticated script execution via unsanitized dashboard name
Published Apr 7, 2020 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Cross-site scripting in the dashboard of Fortinet FortiADC 5.4.0 and 5.3.x before 5.3.5 allows remote authenticated users to run script. The dashboard inserts the attacker-controlled name parameter into a generated page without neutralizing script content. A user must view the crafted dashboard content, allowing script execution in that user's browser context.
