Heap-based buffer over-read in Ming 0.4.8 allows remote attackers to crash SWF-processing utilities through a crafted SWF file. The decompile_SWITCH function reads eight bytes past a heap allocation when malformed action control flow leaves the parser out of sync. Exploitation requires a user or application to process the file; the published reproducer demonstrates an AddressSanitizer-detected abort.
