Insufficient policy enforcement in Google Chrome before 81.0.4044.92 allows remote attackers to bypass navigation restrictions via crafted HTML. The Log Saver extension trusted MessageSender.id to identify clients even though a compromised renderer could spoof that field, allowing requests from an untrusted origin. A crafted page must first compromise a renderer and induce user interaction; the bypass changes permitted navigation but does not disclose data or interrupt service.
