Published Jun 10, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Missing XML validation in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 allows remote attackers to crash the system or read restricted diagnostics files. Problem Context Manager accepts attacker-supplied XML without necessary validation, allowing content to exhaust memory and expose files visible to diagnostics-agent technical administrators. Network access requires no authentication; impacts are limited to a system crash and restricted-file disclosure, with no integrity change.
