Unauthenticated console access via absent BIPRWS certificate
Published May 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in SAP BusinessObjects Live Data Connect 1.0 through 2.3 allows remote attackers to access the Central Management Console. The BIPRWS authentication path permits a passwordless console logon when the application server lacks the specified certificate protection. The service must expose that unprotected path; successful access grants unauthenticated control of the management console.
