Browser script execution via insufficient output encoding
Published Apr 14, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 700 through 75E allows remote attackers to execute script through CRM_BSP_FRAME input. The CRM_BSP_FRAME Business Server Pages application returns user-controlled input without sufficient output encoding, placing it into a browser-executable response context. Exploitation requires a victim to load a crafted reflected response; the script can read or modify data available to that browser session.
