Content spoofing via attacker-controlled error pages
Published Apr 14, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Content spoofing in SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 and 4.2 allows remote attackers to misdirect users via crafted error pages. The OpenDocument component permits an attacker to modify certain application error pages so that they render attacker-supplied content. Exploitation requires a user to be tricked into opening the crafted page; the documented consequence is misleading displayed content, not code execution or service interruption.
