Authenticated script execution via insufficient output encoding

Cross-site scripting in SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 and 4.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim browser. The Web Intelligence HTML interface inserts user-controlled input into generated pages without sufficient output encoding, causing browsers to interpret the input as active content. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim to load affected content, enabling access to or modification of data available in that browser context.
