CVE-2020-6219Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unsafe deserialization

Published Apr 14, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Unsafe deserialization in SAP CrystalReports WebForm Viewer 4.1, 4.2, and VS 2010 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The CR .NET SDK WebForm Viewer accepts attacker-controlled serialized content through manipulated component parameters and deserializes it without sufficient validation. Basic authorization is required; successful exploitation executes arbitrary commands in the application context or interrupts the service.
