Reflected XSS via insufficient URL parameter encoding
Published Apr 24, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 700, 701, 702, 730, 731, 740, and 750 through 754 allows remote attackers to run script via crafted URLs. SBSPEXT_PHTMLB places values from multiple URL parameters into generated HTML without sufficient output encoding. A victim must open an attacker-crafted URL; the reflected script then runs under the application's origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
