Unauthenticated command execution via EemAdmin SOAP messages
Published Mar 10, 2020 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Missing authentication in SAP Solution Manager User Experience Monitoring 7.2 allows remote attackers to execute commands on connected hosts. The default EemAdminService/EemAdmin SOAP endpoint accepts crafted unauthenticated messages that upload unsanitized scripts for execution by connected SMDAgents. HTTP or HTTPS access to Solution Manager is sufficient, and commands run with the SMD Agent user's privileges across connected systems.
