CVE-2020-6197

Local portable download via stale session tokens

Published Mar 10, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Insufficient session expiration in SAP Enable Now before 1908 allows local users to download portables via reusable session tokens. The Manager keeps session tokens valid longer than intended instead of invalidating them promptly, allowing a previously issued token to authorize continued portable retrieval. Local low-privilege access is required, and the documented consequence is confidentiality loss through portable downloads without reported integrity or availability impact.
