Unauthenticated denial of service via thread exhaustion
Published Mar 10, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Denial of service in SAP BusinessObjects Mobile Server 4.2 allows remote attackers to exhaust MobileBIService threads with repeated requests. The service permits repeated requests to consume all request-processing threads; SAP has not disclosed the affected handler or request form. Unauthenticated network reachability is sufficient, and successful exploitation prevents legitimate mobile requests from being processed.
