Unauthenticated system details disclosure via heap-dump endpoints
Published Feb 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in SAP NetWeaver AS Java Heap Dump Application 7.30, 7.31, 7.40, and 7.50 allows remote attackers to read system details. After heap-dump analysis has been performed, vulnerable application endpoints expose the hostname, server node, installation path, and sensitive heap-dump data without authentication. Network reachability to those endpoints and retained heap-dump data are required; the disclosed details can support further attacks against the system.
