Script execution via unescaped lang parameter
Published Apr 7, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in CLink Office 2.0 allows remote attackers to inject script or HTML through the management console. The index page places the lang parameter into an HTML response without sufficient neutralization, causing supplied markup to execute in a browser. No authentication is required, but a user must follow a crafted request; successful execution can read or alter data available to the console session.
