Cross-site scripting in WikibaseMediaInfo extension 1.35 for MediaWiki allows remote attackers to execute script in users’ browsers via crafted autocomplete labels. The PropertySuggestionsWidget template renders attacker-controlled Wikidata labels as HTML because its template syntax does not escape the label content. Exploitation requires a victim to interact with the affected autocomplete suggestions; the demonstrated impact is client-side script execution with confidentiality and integrity effects in the victim’s browser.
